RIVERDALE, Md., November 07, 2005 – Gryphon Technologies, L.C., a leading systems engineering, integration, and information technology company, has been awarded an Aircraft Carrier New Construction Project Office Support Task under the SEAPORT-e Contract in support of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding located at the Northrop Grumman Newport News facility in Newport News, Virginia.

The 5-year contract was awarded based on a best value determination. Gryphon will oversee the development and maintenance of an evolving strategic Delivery Management Plan that includes standard operating procedures and a Delivery Task Tracking System for aircraft carrier new construction project management. Members of the team will provide project management support for new construction aircraft carrier HM&E, Combat, and ICAN systems. Additionally, they will provide new construction aircraft carrier continuous risk management, business case analyses, and support the preparations and conduct of sea trials and final delivery.
