SEA offers energy management expertise, technical ability, and geographic breadth needed to:

SEA is currently providing engineering consulting services for federal agencies at numerous locations worldwide. SEA is the only known contractor providing comprehensive professional energy and engineering consulting (in the form of Resource Efficiency Management services) to all three branches of the Department of Defense, including U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, as well as Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Air National Guard and the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). With SEA’s in-house workforce, SEA has provided engineering services at nearly 100 separate locations simultaneously.
SEA identifies ECMs that meet the goals outlined in Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), Presidential Executive Orders (EOs), as well as other Federal and State directives. Developing and implementing these sustainable energy management solutions, we provide in-depth knowledge of sustainable principles, technical expertise in a wide range of engineering disciplines. SEA’s engineering staff inspects facilities to identify opportunities for saving energy, water, and other utilities. Using federally mandated and approved life-cycle-cost analysis; we conduct resource audits, develop recommendations for cost-effective projects and perform building commissioning.
Many SEA personnel are registered Professional Engineers (PEs) and all SEA staff supporting this effort are Certified Energy Managers (CEMs) with many having multiple applicable certifications, such as Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP), Certified Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP), and Real Property Administrator (RPA).
